The Pardee Center for International Futures, in a partnership with Atlantic Council and Zurich Insurance, has completed an analysis on the future of demographic risk. The analysis has been published in four articles via Zurich Insurance, one article via Atlantic Council, and a reference report via the Pardee Center.
The Pardee Center 2015-16 Annual Review takes a look at projects, transitions and accomplishments of the 2015-16 academic year. Highlights include improvements in the International Futures (IFs) model, the development of a new cloud-based data aggregation tool, and expansion of the historical data in our Diplometrics dashboard.
A recent article uses the Pardee Center’s International Futures (IFs) forecasting model to explore poverty eradication in fragile states.
On June 15, 2016, a select group of researchers joined the beta release of DataGator, a new data-exploration and transformation tool being developed by the Fredrick S. Pardee Center for International Futures, partially funded by the Minerva Initiative.
Dr. Barry Hughes, Founding Director, and Janet Dickson, research consultant and analyst for the Pardee Center, have recently returned from three weeks of working vacation in Vienna. Dr. Hughes gave initial seminars at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and the Wittgenstein Centre, both premiere long-term forecasting organizations.
The Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures was highlighted at the 2015 Founders Day Gala on March 5. The event, marking the 151st anniversary of the University of Denver, recognizes the work of DU faculty, staff, students and alumni through the years. The reception honored eight outstanding members of the University of Denver community.
