M.A. Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration, University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies, expected Spring 2018
Matthew studied international affairs at the University of New Hampshire. His focus on Mandarin Chinese lead him to attend an intensive semester in Beijing with CET. After graduating, Matt returned to China where he worked as an English language teacher in Shenzhen. While in Shenzhen Matt also worked as a project manager for Warehouse Pizza, successfully opening a restaurant in the high end Cocoa Park District. After returning to New Hampshire in 2014 he worked as a Program Manager and Chinese Teacher for the One World Language School, a small non-profit.
Three years after receiving his bachelors, Matt is pursuing his masters at DU with a focus on Chinese monetary relations and statistical analysis. Someday he hopes to find his way back to New Hampshire and consult on Chinese monetary issues from a quite costal town or the mountains (maybe Bretton Woods).
