He is currently a second year masters candidate pursuing International Development and Global Health. As an aspiring leader in health policy on the global front, his journey to practice policymaking and clinical health was inspired when he lost his father to lung cancer. His interests is in making the connection between the socio-politico-economic determinants of health and development, and he remains passionate about using the quantitative biosciences (Biostatistics, epidemiology and bioinformatics) to explore and understand diseases that disregard national borders and how that knowledge can inform global health policy.

His hobbies revolve around everything on the mountains: from snowboard when it is wet (Thanks to Prof Jonathan and Steve Hedden for making him a lover of snowboarding) to hiking when the weather is dry.
