Background: Carey Neill enrolled at the Korbel School in September of 2011, seeking a degree in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration. Before pursuing a master’s degree, Carey spent three years working as a statistician for the Department of Institutional Research at Johns Hopkins University. During this time, he was granted leave from his job to take on internships in Germany in the field of sustainable energy. Carey graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in the spring of 2008 with a degree in history and mathematics. His research interests include international political economy and state fragility.
