On March 8, Director Jonathan D. Moyer served as a quantitative specialist at a workshop hosted in Washington, D.C. by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The goal of States of Fragility: Fragility Clustering Workshop was to assess the methodology of the next States of Fragility report.

On February 8th, Pardee Center Director Jonathan Moyer and Financial and Program Officer Mickey Rafa presented at the UNICEF Speaker Series in Kampala, Uganda. They spoke on the report Estimating District GDP in Uganda, which provided an estimate of district level GDP in Uganda.

Director Alexis Goosdeel and Scientific Director Paul Griffiths of the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) visited the Pardee Center on February 9, 2018 to learn more about International Futures (IFs) and the potential for future collaboration. The EMCDDA offers research, data, and analysis to inform policymakers on laws and strategies regarding illicit drugs.
In January, 2018, Pardee Center Founder, Senior Scientist, and Mentor Barry B. Hughes served as a lead presenter at an Expert Meeting for the United Nations Division for Sustainable Development, Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
