Moyer attended the 32nd African Union Summit and the 37th Session of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Heads of State and Government Orientation Committee Meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He will help launch a new report by the Pardee Center and NEPAD, Africa’s Path to 2063: Choice in the Face of Great Transformation.

Research Associate David K. Bohl was a panelist at the 38th International Symposium on Forecasting in Boulder, Colorado. His session, “Global Forecasting: the International Futures Model” was part of the forecasting practice session, which introduced participants to the IFs model. The Pardee Center was a contributing sponsor of the symposium.
Project Manager Whitney Doran and Research Associate II Andrew Scott presented on the Diplometrics project in DU Professor Keith Gehring’s undergraduate International Futures course. They introduced the goals of the Diplometrics Project and showed students where they can access the Pardee Center’s public Diplometrics datasets and visualization platforms.
Director Jonathan D. Moyer presented to the Washington DC office of USAID’s Latin America and Caribbean regional office on ongoing analysis of education, labor, violence, and migration in Central America.
On April 4, Director Jonathan Moyer presented a paper on “Human Trafficking, War, and Social Disruption and Change” at the International Studies Association 2018 Annual Convention in San Francisco, CA.
