Shelby Johnson

Shelby graduated with a B.A. in Asian Studies from the University of the South: Sewanee in 2008. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad at Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing, China. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Shelby spent a year volunteering in AmeriCorps NCCC. She then worked for Habitat for Humanity in Lexington, Kentucky. While there, Shelby traveled to Chitwan, Nepal to work with the local Habitat branch. Currently, Shelby is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration with concentrations in International Political Economy and Quantitative Analysis. She began working with the Pardee Center in November of 2014.
