Peter Oesterling

Peter Oesterling graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a double major in Spanish and Political Science in May 2011. During his studies at UK, Peter studied abroad at La Universidad Latina in Heredia, Costa Rica and at La Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru. He also interned for the World Trade Center of Kentucky and worked as the Office Manager for a Lexington-based law firm that represents the local Hispanic population.

Peter enrolled at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in the fall of 2012 and began working at the Pardee Center as a Research Assistant in March 2013. Peter’s main academic interests are sustainable development and environmental policy. He also currently interns for Water For People.
