John McPhee Graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2009. During his time at UNH, he held two accounting internships and was a microeconomics teaching assistant. He also spent a semester in Rome, Italy at John Cabot University. After graduation, John taught English in Daegu, South Korea for a year and spent time traveling throughout Southeast Asia. Afterwards, he became a financial representative with a large investment firm. He currently holds his Series 7 license. During this time, he became familiar with financial markets and security transactions.
John is pursuing a M.A. in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration with concentrations in International Political Economy and Quantitative Analysis. He is also currently an intern with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s International Trade office where he performs research for foreign direct investment into Colorado and exports out. His interests in quantitative analysis and international politics are why he pursued a position at The Pardee Center.
