Background:

Althea is a Research Assistant with the Pardee Center. After graduating with a Bachelors in economics she conducted and coauthored a systematic literature review on environmental security with a former professor. She also consulted clients in political campaigns and international security conducting data analysis and creating graphics for publications. Althea’s interest in quantitative analysis and modeling has led her to work at the Pardee Center. Her work at the center has been concentrated on building a sub-regionalized module of the United States. She also has provided data and analysis contributions to the Minerva project. Althea’s academic interests are in environmental security in the Middle East and North Africa and in long term forecasting.
